Timeline

& Cost

The ABCC is three semesters long. Our semesters run from September through January, and February through June. You choose which semester to start.

  • Participants enroll and begin the ABCC within 6 months of completing the prerequisites (see next section)

  • 8 credits per semester (3 semesters total) - 15 months (each semester lasts 5 months)

  • End of Semester Check-ins with A-B Projects Director, Nicole Seisler

  • Each semester can be built to fit the participants needs and interests

  • Final Review & Portfolio Submission at the end of 3rd semester

Prerequisites (8 hours): $320

This fee is paid upon registration for your first Studio Session and includes:

  • 1 Studio Session (2 hrs/week for 4 weeks)

  • 1 Introductory Interview with A-B Projects Director Nicole Seisler (scheduled at your convenience)

Each Semester (8 credits): $1000

This fee is paid at least 6 weeks before each semester begins, and includes:

  • Studio Sessions at a discounted rate: $250 ($70 discount!) / 2 credits

  • Online Advising Meetings with up to 4 different Advisors: $250. (Note that switching to in-person advising is $100 extra per meeting) / 2 credits

  • Optional State of Ceramics or other programming

  • Participants have the ability to build the semester to fit their preferences!

  • This is our base curriculum, but if you can’t get enough you always have the option to enroll in additional programming.
