Financial need-based scholarships are an essential component of making an alternative education in contemporary, conceptual ceramics as widely accessible as possible. Scholarships are awarded for individual Studio Sessions monthly and enrollment in the ABCC as we are able.

Scholarships are funded by A-B Projects and by generous donors who make one-time or recurring donations.

Current Scholarships

The Reclaim Scholarship

This scholarship is available to anyone who is going through hard times. Reclaim your practice. Reclaim your studio (or your studio rent!). Reclaim your momentum. Reclaim your agency. What will this Studio Session allow you to reclaim for yourself?

The Reclaim Scholarship is recurring and will be offered to one individual monthly for Studio Sessions during the duration of 2026. Applications are due on the tenth of each month for the Studio Session taking place the following month. Recipients must attend each meeting for the session they were awarded.

The current Reclaim Scholarship covers the full cost of enrollment in the upcoming March Studio Session with Nathan Lynch.

How to Apply

Compile a single PDF or Word Document with the following:

  • Name, Email Address, Website and/or Instagram handle

  • What are you looking to reclaim for yourself or your practice, and how will this specific Studio Session impact you? (maximum 250 words)
