Studio Sessions

Everything is an Experiment

with Berenice Hernández

February 2026

About the Studio Session

What if everything we make is simply part of an ongoing experiment? If this is the case, then mistakes are not mistakes; successes are not successes; everything is part of the same evolving path. How do we position ourselves in a perpetual state of curiosity, seeing our artistic practice as a continuous line rather than a series of isolated outcomes?

In this Studio Session, we embrace the freedom that comes with letting go of expectations. By observing, taking notes, fragmenting, reassembling, reconfiguring, observing, and taking notes again, we will develop a deeper collective trust in openness, play, and experimentation as guides for a more sustainable and liberating way of making.

About the Lead Artist

Berenice Hernández works with sculpture, video, photography, and performance. Her work has been exhibited in Mexico, Sweden, Norway, the UK, the USA, and Belgium, with recent exhibitions at Format, Galleri Svarta Gran, Etnografiska Museet, Berg Gallery, and Norsk Billedhoggerforening.
